My Coast

As the summer season arrives, beach trips and dips in the sea are at the forefront of everyone’s minds. However, which beach offers the best amenities and experience for you and your family is very personal. The My Coast app allows you to investigate nearby beaches and specify your personal needs and requirements so that you can find the ideal beach before you’ve left the house!

What does it tell you?

Using My Coast, you can investigate the high and low tide times and the risk of tide cut off, you can see whether there are lifeguards present and you can investigate the amenities, facilities and activities available. My Coast tells you the sea conditions, including wave height, surf safety and the bathing water quality to ensure you have the most enjoyable experience. You can even investigate the accessibility and add your requirements as a filter to find beaches that are accessible to you. Most importantly, it tells you whether a beach is dog friendly!

Is My Coast reliable?

My Coast is designed in collaboration with partners like the RNLI to help ensure your safety and provide detailed information around the coastal conditions so that you can make an informed choice before deciding where to go. It also works with South West Water to provide information around water quality. They are also endorsed by Cornwall Council and Surf Life Saving GB.

Why is My Coast so important?

Apps like My Coast are crucial. It is so important that we are able to investigate a beach before visiting as the coast can be dangerous. Knowing whether a beach is right for your requirements is vital. Going to the beach is key to a Cornish holiday, and knowing that the water will be safe to swim in and whether there are toilets decreases stress and makes it more enjoyable. To make sure your beach adventures are as magical as possible, use My Coast.

We want your Cornish holiday to create the most wonderful memories. The coast is where we have had some of our best experiences as a family and we want to share that.
