Cornwall leading the way on Low Alcohol Beer
As you will realise if you have come to Cornwall before one of you will end up driving to the pub, so its great to see that the local breweries are coming up with some fantastic non and low alcohol beer for you to savour.
Our local brewery, Firebrand in Launceston, has developed an award winning ale, Shorbreak, as well as a lager call little Wave. Both of these beers are under 35 Calories, Vegan Friendly and Gluten Free.
And we noticed yesterday in the Wellington Hotel in Boscastle, which is now a St Austell brewery pub that they have a low alcohol version of Proper Job available in bottles. It has a taste of citrusy, tropical hops – with malty sweetness and delicate bitterness, too. This is an authentic IPA with 0.5% alcohol and all the flavour and aroma.
Sharps have also come to the party with a 0% alcohol version of Doom Bar, this is only available in bottles but is a very malty brew like the original.
You will find low alcohol beer in pubs all across Cornwall, so a trip to the pub is a pleasure for your whole party.
Check our availability, we are extremely busy already for next year.
