Your Dog
‘Wow! We all had the most amazing holiday. The property is beautifully furnished and everything you need is available. We explored the walks on site and enjoyed watching the dogs have the time of their life. The location is ideal for exploring Cornwall and we also had some lovely afternoons enjoying the pool & sauna. To find somewhere that is truly dog friendly rather than dog tolerant is perfect – it’s all about them really isn’t it.’

As many of our guests appreciate, the real draw of Helsbury is a relaxing holiday for both you and your dog. Your pooch will appreciate the walks around the grounds, from adventures in the woods to explorations around the pond (all lovingly maintained by our fantastic groundsman). Your dogs will love investigating the new smells and environment. A short 15-minute drive to the coast gives you and your canine chum a chance to enjoy the gorgeous beaches and coastal walks around Cornwall.
Our Facilities
‘I have been coming to Helsbury Park with my children since my eldest dog was 1 & she is 14 now. All 4 dogs love it – it’s home from home. We’ve been probably 15/16 times over the years in all of the properties. Now we need both cottages to accommodate a growing family & the 4 grandchildren love it just as much as us & the dogs. We’ve even had our daughter’s wedding here. It truly is a unique & special place. The properties are always maintained to a high standard with improvements each year. It’s worth every penny with the swimming pool & land. I only wish it wasn’t as popular as now we are restricted to school holidays!!! Thank you for an amazing week again.’

Our facilities are a point of pride for us at Helsbury, from the pool, sauna and gym to the grounds and pond. We believe the Helsbury experience is made extra special by these features and these reviews suggest that our guests feel the same! Having access to such incredible facilities, from your doorstep, is definitely a factor adding to the luxury of a Helsbury holiday, as appreciated by many of our guests.
The Cottages
‘This is the 5th time I have stayed at Marhayes in recent years and each time I have stayed it has been an absolutely relaxing, fun family/friends time. The attention to detail and the needs of our stay is catered for right down to the smallest detail. The cottage is exceptionally clean, comfortable and spacious to accommodate everyone. The view is breathtaking, and you are able to walk the view that you can see, amazing. There is a large swimming pool which, as you are swimming you can see the same view as you do from the house!! A small gym, sauna and showers, caters for everyone and a lot of fun. I cannot recommend this holiday/cottage enough, definitely a great time and I am looking to book again within the next 8 months, can’t wait! 100 % recommendation from me.’

We’re very proud to have a feedback score of 4.9 and our wonderful housekeeping team fully deserve their full marks for cleanliness. They do a fantastic job (despite being left enough hair to knit their own dog on occasion). It isn’t easy being super dog friendly and maintaining top notch cleaning standards, but our wonderful team manage brilliantly.
We love seeing positive reviews from our guests at Helsbury and the highest praise of all is how many guests return year after year.
